We held an international understanding seminar and invited staff members from the PREDA Foundation, which we had visited on the study tour. Ms. Marlyn Capio was protected at 14, when she was forced to work as a child prostitute. Now, with the support of the PREDA Foundation, she works as a social worker at the foundation in order to save children in similar difficulties. Ms. Rodelyn Arroz, now placed under the protection of the foundation, spoke about her very painful experience in tears.
The second half of the event was a debriefing of the study tour. Tour participants gave outlines of the facilities that they had visited and spoke about how they felt in the Philippines.
