Ms. Zafiya Shamim Fiji Bula from Fiji!
I’m Zafiya Shamim, and for the past decade, I’ve worked in strategic communication, media relations, digital content management, and gender equality. With extensive training in gender inclusivity, I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations like the ADB, the World Bank, and JICA to help drive meaningful change. I’m passionate about creating content that amplifies diverse voices and perspectives.
Ms. Swapna Majumdar India My name is Swapna Majumdar and I am an award-winning journalist focusing on research-based articles on development and gender. Several of my articles have been cited in international publications like UNFPA’s annual State of World Population reports for the empathy and professionalism with which they have been written.
Ms. Zaynah Shameem Fiji I am Zaynah Shameem. I work in business administration at an engineering firm which is male dominated. I have always had a keen interest in politics and international affairs, women issues, gender equality, and inclusivity. I have a higher education Diploma in Business Management from Fiji National University.
Ms. Shabana Mahfooz Pakistan I am a Lahore, Pakistan based educator with an extensive background in Print and Broadcast Journalism, where I have worked as a Shift Incharge, Quality supervisor and Consultant for Broadcast channels and written columns and articles for local and foreign publications. In my past and present experience, I explore and write about topics related to societal injustice, women’s rights and culture.
