Due to COVID-19, the participants could not come to Japan and we had an online training for the first time.
The training was attended by 12 participants from Fiji, Kosovo, Malawi, Ghana, Nepal, and Cambodia.
KFAW took the time to explore effective ways to ensure participants’ understanding even online, and managed to start the training while the state of emergency was in effect and people around the world had to stay at home.
We used the chat function and taught those who were not used to it how to access an online platform to attend the online training. For those who did not have internet access, they stayed at hotels during the training. All the participants managed to successfully attend the online training.
