[ONLINE Seminar] “Can Domestic Violence Perpetrators Change? Part 2”

The government and local governments have begun to promote rehabilitation programs for the perpetrators of domestic violence with the goal of fundamentally eliminating the act of perpetration, in addition to the conventional measures to separate the victim from the perpetrator.

This seminar will be held on the same theme as last year. This seminar will have two speakers. They are a couple, and also, he is ‘ex-perpetrator’, and she is ‘ex-victim’.

They currently manage a non-profit organization for DV issues and have “Rehabilitation program for perpetrators” and “Recovery Program for victims” in Japan.

They will talk about counseling for perpetrators/victims and prevention or rehabilitation for DV perpetrators.

The lecturer realized his own perpetration after his wife took shelter and started an organization to support people suffering from domestic violence and the perpetrators.
